Some Android users might be unaware that Google’s OS has a Smart Lock feature which recently became available for the Netflix Android TV app.
Smart Lock lets users keep their gadgets in an unlocked/locked state depending on location or if the gadget detects an authorized device in the vicinity. For instance, if your Chromebook has the Smart Lock functionality activated and you get near it with your Android handset, the Chromebook detects the fellow device and unlocks itself. This way, entering your log-in credentials will no longer be necessary. When you leave the room, the computer locks itself back.
Having to input one’s ID and password can be tedious. Enter Smart Lock for Passwords, which lets users save the combos of app usernames-passwords, speeding up the sign in process.
