The Qualcomm Snapdragon processors are now considered to be the best on the market, so any single board powered by them is not going to be a bad one. There are a few models already available and a new one coming down the line.
By default, the Dragonboards also come with the latest available Android OS, but that’s not all that attractive. The Ubuntu developers have made the necessary adjustments and now the latest Snappy Ubuntu Core operating system is also working on this hardware.
The Ubuntu developers have made important progress with Snappy Ubuntu Core in the past year or so, and this version of the operating systems from Canonical has been adapted for all kinds of devices.
Snappy Ubuntu Core can run on everything starting from routers, a wide range of IoT devices, and to the most powerful development boards.
