openSUSE Tumbleweed users have received many snapshots during the last two weeks, since the beginning of the April, so it’s time to bring you, guys, up to speed with what’s new in the rolling GNU/Linux distribution.
The fact of the matter is that a lot of things are new in openSUSE Tumbleweed, all the time. For example, the distro was the first to get the Linux 4.5 kernel on March 18, 2016, just a few days after its initial launch on March 14, and it also received the latest GNOME 3.20 desktop environment after only one week after it had been announced.
During the past two weeks, the openSUSE Tumbleweed repositories have been flooded with all the latest GNU/Linux software and technologies, among which we can mention the KDE Plasma 5.6.2 desktop environment, Mesa 11.2.0 3D Graphics Library, as well as KDE Framework 5.21.0 collection of add-on libraries for Qt5. Also, it looks like the XChat IRC client has been replaced with HexChat.
