Chakra GNU/Linux maintainer Neofytos Kolokotronis announced that the rolling operating system is now getting the latest software updates and technologies.
Users are being informed that if they upgrade to Poppler 0.47.0, it will break backward compatibility with previous versions, so if you have any local/CCR packages that depend on another Poppler version, you’ll have to recompile it. That being said, all the goodies mentioned above should be ready for installation via the official software repositories.
To update, simply open the terminal emulator and execute the “pacman -Syu” command, just like on the Arch Linux operating system.
