PineBook is a budget laptop running an Allwinner quad-core 64-bit processor. The device comes in two screen sizes both of them having 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage along various ports and connectivity options. PineBook supports a number of Linux distros and Android versions.
If you are looking for a low-cost Linux machine which is also a MacBook Air doppelganger, you might want to consider PineBook. The machine uses the same ARM-based CPU found on the single board computer Pine 64.
PineBook is presented as a more practical solution by its makers which can cater to a large number of customers. The 14-inch Linux machine is just 0.47-inches thick and weighs 1.2 kilos.
It can run any Linux distribution or Android OS which is supported by the PINE A64 board like Ubuntu, Debian, Raspbian, etc. It can also run Windows IoT.
PineBook comes in two variants, 11-inch ($89) and 14-inch ($99). Both variants feature the same hardware.
