Maui 2.1 is a refreshed installation medium for those who want to install the Ubuntu-based distribution on their personal computers, including various updated packages, but it mainly focuses on fixing various issues reported by users with the Calamares installer since Maui 2.
Therefore, if you plan on installing the Maui 2 Linux operating system, we recommend that you download the Maui 2.1 Live ISO image instead of the Maui 2 one released at the end of October 2016. Existing users don’t need to download anything, just make sure that your Maui 2 “Blue Tang” installation is up to date.
