Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for T-Mobile’s LG G4 with model number “H811” is apparently rolling out. Even though, G4 handsets under other carriers have already received the update, T-Mobile has just started sending the firmware, GSM Arena reported.
Based on the Reddit update, many people have the Marshmallow update installed on their LG G4, although LG and T-Mobile have not officially updated the support page thus far. Most of the G4 owners with the latest firmware on board apparently installed it via “LG Bridge software” for PCs and Macs. But then, the Reddit update also said a lone G4 owner has reportedly received the software over-the-air (OTA) already.
This means, it’s just a matter of days before every T-Mobile G4 owner starts receiving the OTA update. Upon installing the update, LG G4 should be able to show the software version as “H81120I.”
