The developers behind the Debian-based Parsix GNU/Linux distribution have officially ended support for the Parsix GNU/Linux 8.0 (Mumble) release, starting today, April 16, 2016.
The end-of-life (EOL) announcement for the Parsix GNU/Linux 8.0 (Mumble) operating system, which was based on the Debian GNU/Linux 8.0 “Jessie” series, went live a month ago, in mid-March. We then advised our readers to consider upgrading to the current stable, supported release of the distribution.
And now that Parsix GNU/Linux 8.0 (Mumble) has been marked with an EOL (End-of-Life) status, it means that it will no longer receive software updates, important bug fixes, nor critical security updates. In other words, you have no choice but to upgrade to Parsix GNU/Linux 8.5 (Atticus) as soon as possible.
