The development cycle of the next major OTA update for Ubuntu Phone and Ubuntu Tablet devices continues at a slow pace, as the Ubuntu Touch devs have just announced that it is not even ready for an RC image.
Łukasz Zemczak informs the Ubuntu Touch community today, May 11, 2016, about the fact that the promised Release Candidate (RC) image for the upcoming OTA-11 software update might be pushed to public testers by the end of the week, but because things are moving so slow, the final release will be delayed by a week.
While there’s no release date set for the Ubuntu Touch OTA-11 update, which was supposed to hit the streets at the end of May, today’s delay will push it to the first week of June.
