Moritz Bunkus has announced the second major release of his powerful and open source MKV (Matroska) manipulation utility for all supported operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
MKVToolNix 9.2.0 comes a little over a month since the release of MKVToolNix 9.1.0, but users should not expect many other new features, as the developer has only had time to fix some of the issues that have been reported during this time. There is, however, an important change in the mkvinfo component, but it only affects those who use the software on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X platforms.
