Still using the KDE 4.14 desktop environment, and still based on Canonical’s long-term supported Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) operating system, Linux Mint 17.3 “Rosa” KDE Edition is here to improved some of the built-in Mint apps, as well as to update various applications and core components and to fix bugs reported by users since Linux Mint 17.2 “Rafaela” KDE Edition.

“The team is proud to announce the release of Linux Mint 17.3 “Rosa” KDE Edition. Linux Mint 17.3 is a long term support release which will be supported until 2019. It comes with updated software and brings refinements and many new features to make your desktop experience more comfortable to use,” says Clement Lefebvre.
